To everyone who made plans to join us today, thank you, and we’re sorry.

The weather this weekend has forced delays, shifting match times and cancellations that we know disrupted your plans and, for many of you, meant not seeing the tennis you came for. Please know that none of this was taken lightly. Behind every postponement is a team weighing player safety, court conditions and the fairness of the competition, working to make the best possible call in circumstances none of us can control.

That doesn’t make the disappointment any easier, and we understand the frustration many of you are feeling. You set aside your day, brought family and friends and looked forward to world-class tennis. When Mother Nature steps onto the court, it’s our guests who feel it most, and that’s the part we wish we could change.

Here’s what we can promise: our grounds crew, officials, and staff are doing everything in their power to resume play and get you timely information on when that will be. As soon as decisions are made, we’ll share them on our website and social channels. Our team is also working through your questions as quickly as we can, so please bear with us as we get back to everyone.

Tennis outdoors has always come with the sky as a silent third opponent. It tests our patience, but it never dampens the spirit of this event or the community that shows up for it year after year. Your understanding, your patience and your continued support mean the world to us.
